I’m the coders equivalent of a starving artist poser.
In my case it means I’ve always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but I have a family to support, a day job that I love and pays me well, and a need for security :). So the odds that I’ll ever break away from “the man” are slim. Nonetheless, I like to pretend. And who knows. maybe some day one of my “great ideas” will pan out.
As for the details:
I have a Computer Science background (BS from University of Illinois- Urbana Champaign) and a Master’s in Managing in Science and Technology (Oregon Health Sciences University)
I’ve spent the majority of my adult life working for Intel Corporation (a great employer and I’m excited about what we’re doing in the industry too) as an Application Developer for a while and now as a IT Manager where I manage a team of awesome developers that focus on web apps for intel.com (some external some internal).
However, I’ve managed to make it this far without talking about the most important things to me in life which are my relationship with Jesus Christ, my wonderful wife Veronica, and my growing family (Tatiana, Kira, Drew and Ella)
